Sempai Sean Stevens

Sempai Sean Stevens (the boy from the bush) is a dedicated martial artist who embarked on his journey in the world of Kyokushin Karate in 2014. Under the guidance of Sensei David Cragie at Shuto Karate club in Young. Sean began his training, immersing himself in the rigorous discipline and philosophy of Kyokushin Karate.

 

Over the years, Sean's commitment and perseverance propelled him forward, enabling him to achieve remarkable milestones in his martial arts career. He actively participated in numerous local tournaments, showcasing his skills, determination, and indomitable spirit. Through these competitions, Sean gained invaluable experience and honed his techniques, continuously striving to improve and reach new heights.

 

In December 2020, Sean's relentless efforts paid off as he attained the prestigious rank of Shodan (1st Dan) at the Annangrove Dojo in Sydney. Sean was awarded 2nd Dan by Shihan Rick Cunningham in Sept 2024 in Japan at the Honbu dojo.  This accomplishment marked a significant milestone in his martial arts journey, symbolizing his understanding of the foundational principles and techniques of Kyokushin Karate.

 

With his unwavering dedication to the martial arts, Sean continues to seek growth and learning opportunities. Sean runs his own Dojo in Harden NSW. This  journey presents Sean with the chance to expand his knowledge, train alongside other martial artists, and further refine his skills under the guidance of experienced instructors.
