Shihan Peter Olive is a highly accomplished martial artist with a deep-rooted passion for Kyokushin Karate and Kobudo. Holding the esteemed rank of 6th Dan in Kyokushin Karate and 1st Dan in Kobudo, Shihan Peter's journey in the martial arts world has been nothing short of remarkable.

Shihan Peter's martial arts journey began at the prestigious Honbu Dojo in Japan, where he immersed himself in the rigorous training and discipline that Kyokushin Karate is renowned for. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, he honed his techniques and developed a deep understanding of the art form. His unwavering dedication and relentless training soon became evident, and he quickly made significant progress in his martial arts journey.

Returning to his home country of Australia, Shihan Peter sought to further expand his knowledge and skill set. He continued his training with Shihan Rick Cunningham, under whom he continued his instruction. Shihan Rick recognized Shihan Peter's exceptional talent and commitment and, after witnessing his remarkable progress, awarded him the well-deserved rank of 1st Dan.

Over the years, Shihan Peter has established himself as a highly regarded instructor in his own right. Currently instructing at the Annangrove Dojo alongside Shihan Rick, he imparts his extensive knowledge and experience to a new generation of martial artists. His teaching style is characterized by patience, precision, and a deep understanding of the art form, making him a highly sought-after instructor in the martial arts community.

Shihan Peter's accomplishments and dedication have not gone unnoticed. In recognition of his ongoing growth and mastery, he was promoted to 4th Dan in 2010 and further elevated to 5th Dan in 2016. His remarkable journey reached another milestone in 2022 when he was honored with the prestigious rank of 6th Dan by Hanshi Howard Lipman.
